![]() The rugged grip and structure allows it to be very strong and rigid when taking photos. They also include a small micro-USB charger for this.Īll in all, the Mpow iSnap X2 is a great selfie stick. I haven’t found a batter capacity rating on Mpow’s website, but I estimate you can take upwards of 500 photos per charge, based on the reviews of their other selfie sticks. This is a good idea, because it adds weight to the base and allows the iSnap X2 to be balanced. It might be very minor and not important, but if you want to capture instantaneous moments, it might miss it.īecause it is a Bluetooth selfie stick, there is a battery inside the handle. I would estimate around 250 milliseconds. Speaking of which, there is a small delay when taking pictures. On some of the cheaper selfie sticks I’ve used, the button was flimsy and often registered two snaps. The camera button is also good in that you know exactly how many pictures you take with each press. It takes literally seconds to pair, and after turning it off and back on, it re-paired almost immediately. Operation-wise, pairing is very easy to do. The Mpow iSnap X2 is very stable and through my usage, even shaking it hard intentionally to see if my iPod would fall out, the device always held the camera in place. I expected it to be fairly flimsy and not something to make quick and sharp movements with, but I was wrong. The build quality of this selfie stick was unlike anything that I imagined. Its Bluetooth capability means that it is compatible with both iOS and Android. I have no doubt that it can hold your 5.5 inch phones in there comfortably. Right out of the box, there is no assembly required just hold the camera button for 3 seconds, extend the arm, pair, and then you’re good to go. Have you ever felt the need to take a group selfie but your arms weren’t long enough? Well, here is a great solution for you! This is the Mpow Snap X2 selfie stick, and it is a very good one.
